By accessing or using the Perplexilt platform, website, and any associated AI-powered tools (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Perplexilt. We may revise these Terms at any time, and your continued use constitutes acceptance of the updated version.
Perplexilt grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for your internal development purposes. You may use code snippets generated by the AI assistant within your own projects, subject to compliance with applicable third-party licenses. The license does not include any rights to resell, distribute, or exploit the Service or its underlying algorithms for competitive purposes.
You shall not: (i) reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of our AI models; (ii) use the Service to generate malicious code, spam, or any content that violates applicable laws; (iii) interfere with the security or integrity of the Service; (iv) use automated scripts to scrape or collect data from Perplexilt without prior written consent; (v) share your access credentials with unauthorized parties. Any violation may result in immediate suspension.
All intellectual property rights in the Service, including but not limited to algorithms, UI design, trademarks (Perplexilt), and proprietary AI models, remain the exclusive property of Perplexilt and its licensors. You retain ownership of any source code or data you input into the Service. However, by using the platform you grant Perplexilt a limited license to analyze your inputs solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service’s performance and accuracy, while respecting confidentiality standards described in our Privacy Policy.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at our sole discretion, without prior notice, for conduct that violates these Terms or harms other users. Upon termination, all licenses granted to you will cease, and you must immediately stop using the Service. Sections regarding intellectual property, disclaimers, and liability limitations shall survive termination.
The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. Perplexilt does not warrant that the AI-generated code will be error-free, secure, or suitable for your specific production environment. You are solely responsible for reviewing and testing any code suggestions before deployment. We disclaim all warranties, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Perplexilt and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business interruption, arising from your use or inability to use the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the previous six months.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any legal action arising from these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the federal or state courts located in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina. You agree to submit to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.
